Overview

**CC Fest (Creative Coding Fest)** is a community-driven festival that celebrates coding as a form of creative, cultural, and civic expression. Since 2016, CC Fest has welcomed thousands of students, educators, artists, technologists and others, online and in-person, to explore how code can power art, storytelling, and social engagement. Created by Saber Khan with help from volunteers, CC Fest combines hands-on workshops, inspiring keynotes, and a deeply inclusive ethos to make coding joyful, meaningful, and accessible to all.

Mission

To empower educators, learners, and others to see code as more than a technical skill but as a language for making meaning, telling stories, visualizing ideas, and engaging with the world. CC Fest supports teachers in integrating coding into art, design, and humanities, and helps students discover joy, agency, and identity in coding.

• Community & Collaboration: Learn side-by-side in inclusive, hands-on sessions designed for all levels of coding experience.

• Interdisciplinary Learning: Sessions connect computer science with art, design, ethics, and civic engagement, modeling how creative computing enriches any curriculum.
